This guy is the real deal. His site is loaded with the goods. I’m a fan and reader, so I jumped on the opportunity to do an interview with him. His name is Farouk Radwan. Enjoy.
Rob: When folks are reading about the success of others, we usually close our eyes to the work involved. We think it’s been an overnight success. I know I’ve been guilty of that. Tell us what kind of commitment and how many years it took for your overnight success?
“Success never happens overnight and it might
take months or even years before it happens.”
Farouk: Your question mentioned a very important fact about success. Success never happens overnight and it might take months or even years before it happens. Let me tell you a few facts that are not known about my website. We used to be 3 working on the website and after many months passed with a very low revenue 2 of us gave up and left the site. I myself was about to give up after a year when the revenues were still very low compared to the effort I was making. I didn’t start to make any good money off the site before 2 years passed. Now just as you said some people see the final result without knowing what I have been through.
Rob: Farouk, you are living a success story but it wasn’t always that way.
It would have been easier to quit. Many people do. Why didn’t you?
“Let me tell you a secret about successful people…”
Farouk: To be honest there was a day where I thought about quitting. I still remember it well. Let me tell you a secret about successful people, they are not the ones who don’t feel down, sad, depressed or think about quitting but they are the ones who keep going even if they are feeling all of these bad emotions together.
Rob: I’ve learned from reading on your site. How often and what do you read?
“I try to read every day for half an hour.”
Farouk: I am extremely interested in self-help and psychology. I try to read every day for half an hour. As for what I read, I either Google a topic that I want to know about or I grab a good book that a trusted person recommends.
Rob: I get the most satisfaction knowing I helped someone get out of a rut.
What gives you the most satisfaction in regards to your work?
“Feeling good as a result of helping people is awesome.”
Farouk: Feeling good as a result of helping people is awesome. In addition to that, I feel really good when someone who made fun of my site or tried to put me down discovers that I became successful. It just makes me feel real good 🙂

Loving the behind the scenes thoughts here. The fact that the most successful people never giving up; is certainly true. And even if they have those thoughts, they push through them. I love that. Farouk, thank you for your thoughts. You’re an inspiration!
O how much I learn from these interviews Rob. Thank you. So personal – and such a great start to my day always.
Hey Christian,
You were the first interview for a reason!
Farouk definitely has a great story also. Most of us focus on the aftermath of the hard work. I love the story before the story. Actually, I enjoyed hearing that your Dad had been a plumber, working long hours before the event planning. You personally working through this illness is inspiring. And Farouk, is where he’s at because he didn’t quit when it would have been easy to do. Wow, I’m feeling big time motivated right now. This stuff works!
Keep living it LOUD! Brother
Rob

Hey Rob,
Wonderful interview. It’s great to know the ” behind the scenes” view of someone’s success. It gives us a true perspective without the rosy flowers of the “finished product”.
Thank you. Keep blogging. Love to be at your blog.
Derek
Hey Derek,
Re: It’s great to know the ” behind the scenes” view of someone’s success. It gives us a true perspective without the rosy flowers of the “finished product”.
That is definitely one of the main points of the interview.
Caveat emptor, there is work to be done.
This thing called life can be what you want it to be. But, you have to make it that way. No one can do it for you. And, if they did, it wouldn’t satisfy.
Live it LOUD!
Hi Rob! The interview really inspired me as a reader. I like the conversation about “Feeling good as a result of helping people is awesome.” It really feels good to help other people after reaching your own success. It’s time to think of others.
