Interview With JC Deen From JCD Fitness

Must people get judged by their body of work, this guy gets judged on putting his body to work. His name is JC Deen and his website is JCD Fitness. I had to get an interview with him after reading one of his articles. Enjoy!

Rob: I read your post titled, Why You Should Never, Ever Give Up.
It was an epic, pillar article and should be required reading.
What has been the biggest difference maker for you?

JC: There are so many, but I’d have to say the biggest difference maker in my life is the people I’ve surrounded myself with.  All of my best friends are positive, hard-working people.  I dream big and so do my loved ones.

“The difference is clearly in the people
I spend my time with.”

I actually live with another entrepreneur (who is also one of my best friends) and he’s actually one of my biggest mentors when it comes to business and work ethic.  I learn from him each and every day.  The difference is clearly in the people I spend my time with.

Rob: How have you pushed through the desire to quit?

JC: I grew up competing in athletics and there’s nothing I hate worse than losing.  It doesn’t matter if I’m on the practice field, in the weight room, or closing a sale.  I suppose my attitude and desire to succeed allows me to push forward, even when it’d be so much easier to lie down and quit.

Rob: In your opinion why do so many fail to reach their goals, whether in life or fitness?

JC: Two reasons: No direction and disbelief.  If we have no direction, no goal or focus, we have nothing to aim for.  Without a goal to shoot for, how do you expect to make any progress?

“our actions are primarily based around beliefs.”

Secondly, everything we do, all of our actions are primarily based around beliefs.  Many people fail because they haven’t taken the time to establish a solid belief in themselves and/or in what they’re focusing on.

Rob: What one piece of advice do you want to tell my readers?

“Never, ever give up on your goals.”

JC: We all have the ability to do so much more than what we’re currently doing.  People often make the mistake of believing that some people are talented because of luck.  What they fail to realize is talent is merely a product of passion + hard work over time.  So my advice is to find something you can lose yourself in, grow insanely passionate for your cause, and give it every fiber of your being.  Never, ever give up on your goals.

Rob: Thanks a lot for the interview and encouragement JC.

End

Live it LOUD!
Rob
